The Tree of Life program, formerly known as Weekends at Wollaston, is a weekend quarterly residential program, now conducted at the Sisters of St John of God retreat centre Shoalwater. Each weekend overviews a spiritual tradition (eg Ignatian, Franciscan, Benedictine etc) or a psychological framework (eg Ennegram, Myers-Brigges Type Indicator and the like), as well as including opportunities for deepening relationships with other course participants and personal reflection. The Programme consists of four weekends per year for four years, normally the fourth weekend in February, May, August and November, at the St John of God Retreat Centre. Not all participants choose to continue the four years sequentially although most are keen to do so.
Next year the scheduled topics are Ignatian Spirituality, Listening, Art and Spirituality, and Holmes’ Phenomenology of Prayer.
